Dozens if not a hundred movies have been made about America’s favorite game. This game has remained relatively unchanged when compared to many sports, but it continues to inspire artists to try and capture its essence. From comedies to dramas, romance to fantasy, these movies all have their own connection to this great game. Here are my top ten baseball films.

I am very interested in knowing more about your rationale for including For Love of the Game, but not Bull Durham.

I think the Bull Durham is a good movie, perhaps even a great one. I just didn’t find a connection with the characters or the story in general. At least not like I did with the movies on the list. If my list was top twelve it would be in there for sure.
