Baseball: Movies About a Great Game

Baseball HeaderBaseball, as we know it, has been around since the time of the Industrial Revolution. It has lasted through two World Wars, and countless recessions, depressions, scandals, and modernization. With the advent of movies, films began to be made about this great game. One of the first films about baseball came in 1920. The movie was titled Heading Home, and featured a short story of the life of Babe Ruth before becoming a professional. Along the way we’ve had fictional baseball tales, like The Kid From Left Field. There have been musicals like Take Me Out to the Ball Game. There have also been numerous films depicting the lives of the stars and legends of the game. Here are some of the films I’ve seen about this great sport.
