Meryl Streep

In 1979, Meryl Streep was nominated for a Best Actress Oscar for her role in The Deer Hunter. This was the first of 19 Academy Award nominations. Since then Streep has built an incredible resume including three Oscars, eight Golden Globes, and multiple other awards. She’s created memorable roles in films like The Devil Wears Prada, Out of Africa, and Doubt. Meryl Streep is a wonderful actor and a living legend in the film world.
