Did You See That One?

Scott Pilgrim vs. the World

“An epic of epic epicness.”

The Pacific

When Band of Brothers came out in 2001 it quickly became a success for HBO. The mini-series featured great acting and an inspiring story that followed the lives of Easy Company as they battled across Europe during World War II. In 2010 the same people got together and made The Pacific a mini-series about the other half of World War II.

Restrepo

This was a powerful documentary that goes places not often seen by the public. Without being political, the film manages to give a clear picture of the struggles of the soldiers fighting overseas.

The Switch

From Arrested Development to The Kingdom Jason Bateman has proven to be pretty versatile. Now comes The Switch starring Bateman opposite Jennifer Aniston in this comedy with a hint of romance. The movie was released in the summer of 2010 to mixed reviews and only recently did I get around to watching it. In the end I was pleasantly surprised.
