Daniel Day-Lewis plays a role that feels very natural and succeeds in every way. The young Camilla Belle takes on her role wonderfully as she portrays a character who matures throughout the film.
This is an amazing film in many aspects. The visual beauty is stunning as the film seems to have found some segment of this country still untouched. Dante Spinotti captures the time period incredibly well as he did in L.A. Confidential and Public Enemy.
